'I'm Team Stancy': Megan Thee Stallion confronts Natalia Dyer for dumping Steve in 'Stranger Things'

Natalia Dyer, Jimmy Fallon, and Megan Thee Stallion on 'The Tonight Show'

Tonight Show guest host Megan Thee Stallion completely took over Jimmy Fallon's interview with Natalia Dyer on Thursday, enthusiastically chatting to the Stranger Things actor about her character Nancy's love triangle with Steve and Jonathan. It seems that while other fans may be divided on which suitor they prefer, Stallion is firmly on Team Stancy.

"Let's talk about it, though," said Stallion. "Because, okay, so boom. At first you liked Steve. You was into Steve. And then you just kinda like, dumped him, no caution, he didn't know what was happening. Poor Steve. Y'all keep throwing the kids on him to babysit — he keeps saving y'all life. All he do is save y'all life. He was beating everybody up! And you like, 'Aw man, I'm going to Jonathan, sorry.'"

Dyer didn't outright declare allegiance to either Steve or Jonathan, but she certainly saw Stallion's point of view, particularly after being delivered that passionate and enjoyable recap of Nancy's dating history.

"I do feel bad!" said Dyer. "Honestly, I think the way that Jonathan and Nancy happened, I was like, ah that's..."

"It's messed up," Stallion interjected.

"She doesn't always make the most morally right decisions all the time, but that's human, you know?" said Dyer, opting for diplomacy.

"She's a hot girl," said Stallion knowingly.

Stranger Things is currently streaming on Netflix.
